Although we are never officially handed an instruction manual the day our first child is born, we can take comfort in that a book exists that provides all the answers we will ever need about raising our children. That book of course is the Bible. The only way we can truly exhibit to our children that we are living God's Way is by this verse:
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control."
Galatians 5:22
Do we show these fruits to our children? Or do our lives reflect any hatred, jealousy, impatience, bitterness. Children are much more perceptive than we realize!
"Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it."
Proverbs 22:6
