Butterfly Wall Art

I have been in a crafting mood for the last couple of weeks, and I've actually managed to make a few new things.  Thanks to all the awesome blogs out there with so many wonderful ideas and inspiration for projects! One that really caught my attention was here at The Single Nester. Things I like about it - 1. Easy  2.Economical  3.Butterflies - super cute!

So here is my version of it. What better way to use up all those little scraps of scrapbook paper that I am always saving despite my paper drawers overflowing with them!

The tools you need for this project are:
- Picture Frame
- Paper punch (whatever shape you desire!)
- Scrapbook paper

Another cute idea to this theme would be to take two different sizes of flowers and layer the smaller one on top of the larger flower in different patterns.  Hmm...I think I'll try that one next!

And for this frame, I just added a couple of charms...

  1. Thanks for visiting my blog! Thank you for your wall art post. What a great way to use up those overflowing scraps! I love the butterflies. I can't wait to see the real ones soon too!

  2. What a great way to use those 'scraps' of paper! The results are lovely.
